The Cottage is an efficiency studio that sits in a park like setting next to a private lake in Stratford, OK, with quiet country views, kayaks to paddle and ponds for fishing. Inside are two queen beds, a bunk bed, a sofa and a kitchenette, 1 bathroom and sleeps up to six. Grill on the covered patio, let the dogs run in the open space, or stop by the small on-site shop for homemade goods. The cottage is next to our family home but separate, so it stays quiet.

  Carol's property was exactly as described! The view is beautiful and the cottage was very comfortable. My husband had the best time, stating that "This was the best birthday present that I have gotten you for me"! (the trip was an early bday getaway for me). He caught over 100 fish in the large stocked ponds. Carol was friendly and offered assistance anytime it was needed. Already booked a "guys" fishing trip three weeks from now on the way home!

  Carol was an unbelievable host. We love fishing at the ponds in her property and caught a decent amount of bass (some big ones too!). She gave us free rein of the property and checked in with us to make sure we were settled and had what we needed. We felt like we were with family here and are already trying to plan our next get away!

  My husband and I really enjoyed our stay. This is a beautifully maintained and quiet property with each rental situated near lakefront. The Cottage was nicely furnished and supplied with all necessities including very comfortable beds.

  Absolutely Wonderful Stay! We absolutely loved our stay at this beautiful countryside cottage! The home was exceptionally clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. The property itself was amazing—so much beautiful land and plenty of room for our dogs to run and explore, which made the stay even more enjoyable. The large pond was a huge highlight! We loved that there were several different types of boats available to use for free, making it easy to get out on the water and enjoy the property. The fishing was also incredible—we were getting bites at least once every five minutes! 🎣 The natural beauty surrounding the cottage was just as impressive. We saw gorgeous butterflies, a variety of birds, and so much peaceful countryside wildlife. It truly felt like we had our own little piece of nature to enjoy. This was the perfect place to unplug, relax, enjoy the outdoors, and spend quality time with our family and dogs. We would absolutely stay here again!

  Wow, what a gem! Carol’s property is absolutely amazing. The boys and I had a wonderful time relaxing and fishing by all the beautiful surroundings. The Cottage was perfect for our quick getaway and we loved getting to meet everyone and the pups. She even has this beautiful butterfly house with gardens area that’s lovely and fun to watch. It was so fascinating chatting with her about her hobbies. Book it! We were so thrilled to have discovered this place.
